May 1st. 2008 is "All Clowns Birthday." As everyone knows that all clowns are born on the first of May.
Some believe that the tradition of "First of May" may have begun with Joseph "Joey" Grimaldi. Others believe that it begun with the American circus.
First of May was traditionally the time when circuses made their season run, thus rookie clowns are known as "First of Mays."
Please join me in wishing all clowns a "Happy First Of May."
If you are a clown, remember to celebrate your special day.

So nice to see another Ringmaster on circuspace!!.
I was lucky enough to see Circus Vargas about 9 years ago with my partner and he and i both thought thought it was a fabulous show.
