Hey Jerry,
Your messages are not getting to my page. Check where you send it. I will get the messages quicker if you send them directly to my page.
I remember, but not everything. I am crazy. Do you remember when I tried to get a propman to suicide? Lloyd Smith in Wheeling. He wanted to jump from the bridge, and I told him to go for it instead of talking him down. Do you remember?
Well, those were my pre-Jesus days too. I'm not telling people to jump any more, unless they want to jump on Jesus. It's good to know you made the right choice. I missed Nam, but not all the insanity of those days. At least I bailed out early. I went AWOL from the hippy movement in late 71. They called me a Jesus Freak. Maybe they meant it negatively, but I liked it.
It did not take me twenty years. Still, I feel the effects of those bad choices. I won't get into the details on this social network. It's enogh to say I have plenty of regrets, and thankful for the Savior's rescue when it happened.
Peace,
RW

Hi Rick, Those day, after I had gotton back from Vietnam were mostly bad days, I was really on a selfdestruct mode and didn't even know why, I didn't relize what I was doing to myself and others around me. I thought it was business as usual. I went through this for 20 some years before I knew what PTSD was. I was aready married with children, when I was seeing my Dr. and he is the one that told me I needed to go to the VA hospital to be seen. well I ha never gone to a military hospital since Walter Reed and didn't want to go then. Well I am glad my wife, Sally Gallagher made me go. Thats when The hopspital personal got ahold of my records from Vietnam. and had the nerve to tell me that I., ME was nuts. That helped me understand what was going on. But it's too bad I can't remember many things that happened in those years. Like You. Keep the Peace Bro. I'm a lot like you if Jesus hadn't come when he did, I have no idea where I would be today. Your Bro in Christ, Jerry

Hey Jerry,
I didn't doubt you, I just don't remember much from 1971. I am writing what I can in a memoir. One story takes place on the Packs show 1971, in Waynesville, MO, and I think I mention you. As I remember you set out for the base to locate something to help us with our memory destruction. We had a wild time that night with Kenny Heller, Pot, Ralph, and Scott. The next day I was told I would not be permitted on the wire for obvious reasons. That was just before I turned into a Jesus Freak. The next 4-5 years are my fondest memories travelling around during the Jesus Movement as it flourished, then fizzled. You can Google the Jesus Movement and see that it is now considered a fourth great awakening in this country. Some are saying a guy named Lonnie Frisbee started it by walking onto the beach one day and sharing his faith. A hippy gone to Jesus. Maybe the first. The last time I saw you, by the way, was in Portland, OR. I was married, and we were there with TZ for the shriners.
Peace Bro,
RW

Me again Rick, The unit I served in was the 101st Airborne 2/506th Recon. We were a platoon of 25 men, all of us were Ranger qualified and had gone through the training together, some times we split up into 5-7 men teams. After I was wounded and sent back to the states I never saw any of these guys again. A number of them are on the wall in DC. About 5 years ago I started looking for some on the internet. I really didn't know them by their first name only last names. The only one I knew the whole name was the Platoon leader,LT. Joseph K Kellogg. so I typed his name in on yahoo and all of a sudden there he was/ picture and all. He was a 3 star General with the Joint Cheif of Staff at the Pentagon. This was a start, then I went to the JCS web site. and filled out everything about myself just to leave a comment. It payed off. I asked if anyone knew Joseph K. Kellogg if they did let him know that the Snowman, his first pointman is looking for him. Well it paid off, I received a hand written letter with the red flag and 3 stars on it from him telling me he remembered me and was glad to hear from me. That was the start. Three years later 10 of the orginal platoon had been found and we had our first reunion after 39 years at Branson Mo. and we have had a reunion since then every year. We have 11 men on the wall. This year we are going to Oregon to have the reunion at on of the mens home. He has cancer from Agent Orange. Thanks for reading.... Your Brother in Christ.... Jerry....

I remember the days, I served in Vietnam during 1967-1968 and was in Walter Reed part of 68 and the whole year of 69 I think I met you on the Tom Packs Show in 1971??? after that I went to the Bartock show and after that we met again at Heneritta Place there in Sarasota. Thenthe Bartoc show went under and I went with the Hernandez Troupe and was their catcher for about 5 years I was the catcher when Tony was born, After that I went in the concession Business The Castle show , The Gatti Show, Then Sally and I got off the road. Sally went to college and became an RN. I went to work for the Dept. Of Corrections inb the state of Calif. If you talk to Randy Hernandez or Lisa Hernandez Rosaire,Or Pam and Roger Zoppe. They know a little of my Vietnam tour. It's something I didn't talk about for years. Nothing to be proud of. Jerry ><>

Yeah, Jerry, I remember Tiny. I don't remember you saying anything about Nam. You were working for Alberto during the war when we met. I'm back on the wire, and still in the Bible. Good to hear from you.
Peace,
RW

Uncle Sam takes good care now, it only took 30 years and a veteran always has to worry who is in office like now. All of us are worried now with this bunch in charge. The PeeWee you worked for is my PeeWee's big brother Bobby. We lived in Gainesville and were there at that time. I worked in Scots riding act one year on Polack. Can't remember what year.Dougie used to ride overland with us. Our sons first word was "Dougie"
What was the payoff for your time in the service?
Lisa is on here also. We love her as does everyone in show business. Could you tell me something about Tiny's kids. How are they doing?

Well Jerry,We know all the same people. Norma and Pete are good friends and Tiny was a good friend and the Hernandez are good friends. My Dad was Dime Wilson and he knew all of these folks to.It is really nice to meet you and Sally. The folks that live in your town are Willy Lenz and his wife Ann. They had chimps when they were on the road. They are on this site under Willy Lenz. He is of course Rudy Lenz's brother, who was with Ringling for so long. Willy retired to Brainard Minn and bought a deer park. After that he moved to Oregon and then to Brasstown NC. So I was really surprised to find other folks from the circus there. Do you ever get to Sarasota?? Like in the winter when everyone in home?? We live in Gibsonton, but go to all the social events in Sarasota.
