- Do you come from a Circus or Show Business background?
- We are five generations of circus performers known as The Wolf People.
We are born with a rare disorder known as Hypertrichosis, or The Werewolf syndrome.
Our late grand uncle, Manuel Diaz Aceves was the first person in our family born with Hypertrichosis.
Some believe that we maybe related to Julia Pastrana.
I am the oldest member now.
- Tell us about yourself and your background!
- We all performe different atcs, including high wire, trampolene, juggling, motorcycle, perch pole, clowning, nad more.
I, Chuy, have performed in sideshows, and circuses in the United States, and around the world.
Larry and Danny have performed with the Mexican National Circus in Canada and Mexico.
We have been seen in:
- "It's Not Easy being a Wolf Boy" - BBC/TLC
- "Human Mutans" - BBC
- Don Francisco Presenta - Univision
- The Maury Show.
- Dr. Joyce Brown Show.
- Sally Jesse Rafael Show.

There are several family members born with Hypertrichosis, but only six of us are performing or making personal appearances. My sister Lili is married, has one son, and works as a police officer. She never shaves.

Where’s Chuy?
For a while no one new what have become of Chuy.
In October of 2008 Chuy suddenly left Circus Vargas.
At to that point he seemed happy working at Circus Vargas, so
It made no sense as to why he would leave so suddenly.
Now the mystery has been solved. We found Chuy performing as “Jesus Fajardo Manuel Aceves - The Mexican Wolf Man” on Cirque Royal in Spain.
Chuy is viewed and treated like a rockstar by the Spanish people; by all account he is very happy. We hope to hear from him soon, so we can… Continue

From Chuy Aceves: To all my friends, I will be appearing at the Venice Beach Freakshow starting today, and for the next two weeks.
The freakshow is located at 909 Boardwalk, in Venice Beach, California.
Weekdays: 1 to 7 PM
Weekends: 11 AM to 8 PM

- I LOVE Circus Vargas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really do. First time I saw it was in 1994 when I had just moved here. 14 years ago! It is one of the best. Much better than Ringling, Nice seeing you last night. I will be there again tomorrow I hope. Will look for you.

- Oh my God, I am so sorry, I totally forgot to introduce myself tonight. I was so nervous - I always get when I know I am going to go up and fly trapeze, I saw you and I was on my way over a couple of times to say hi. I will be there tomorrow as well, Friday.
